Our Journey Together

  As the wedding day leads up here are the important milestones leading up to Hunter and Ashley's celebration.

Meeting at Christmas

Hunter and Ashley first met through a Christmas Party Hosted by First Baptist. They talked and Ashley even tried to invite Hunter out dancing. They went on their first few dates in Columbia and became official May 7, 2026

First Dance, First Kiss

Ashley loves to go dancing and invited Hunter many times to shag. One night while dancing as he was about to leave, they shared their first kiss together and it was very sweet.

First Bible Study

Their relationship with the Lord has always been important. The reason they came to the conclusion for marriage was through lots of prayer and trust that God will bless their marriage with Christ at the center of it.

Our First Wedding

Hunter and Ashley had some mutual friends that got married their first summer of dating. They got do enjoy dancing, eating, and laughing together. At this point Ashley though she would get her beach wedding but a beach proposal and garden wedding is even more special.

Bible Retreat

This was their first overnight trip together through Hunter's church hosting a retreat in the mountains of North Carolina. Along with their bible study they played games, ate great food, and enjoyed lots of quality time together.

Tampa Times

Meeting family can always be stressful and Ashley having to travel to meet part of Hunter's family for the first time was pretty nerve-racking. Thankfully they prayed through it and Hunter's family loved Ashley. It was a great holiday trip together.

First Trip to Massachussetts

Hunter being from Massachusetts means traveling a ton to the north. For Ashley this was her first time in the state and first time visiting Boston. It was a great bonding experience for both of them to work online, eat food with family, and explore Hunter's life in the big city.

The Epic Universe

The reason they have to share about the Epic Universe is because this was right after Hunter received the engagement ring. Love was in the air for them both especially in the How to Train your Dragon world which had the best food and best immersive experience.

Our Engagement Story

Just about two years after Hunter and Ashley met, he proposed to her and they began to start their lives together. Through much prayer, laughs, and adventures the Lord has brought them together to be wed. Hunter did a great job planning the special engagement surprise and Ashley had no clue until he got down on his knee. It was truly an amazing moment to be surrounded by friends and with each other.
